TRIO SSS Fort Steilacoom Interest Form Hello and thank-you for your interest in TRIO Student Support Services at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom! TRIO is NOT a funding source and DOES NOT cover the cost of tuition, books or anything else. However, we offer additional academic advising, help searching & applying for scholarships and personalized support to help you successfully transfer to a 4-year college or university. This is just a quick form to check TRIO SSS FS eligibility. Once we check to see if you might be eligible, the next step would be to meet with a TRIO SSS advisor to confirm eligibility and have you fill out the full application to become one of the 160 students that we serve each year! If you are not eligible or we are full, we can refer you to other campus resources that are available. TRIO SSS is for Pierce Fort Steilacoom Students that are either income eligible or 1st generation with an academic need, AND plan to transfer to a 4-year college or university after their 1st degree at Pierce College. In the next 1-4 weeks, list all open times between: Mon–Thurs: 8:30 AM–3PM & Fri: 8:30 AM–1PM. We will use your availability to schedule a 60-min Zoom meeting with a Retention Manager or Faculty Counselor/Advisor. This intake appointment will help us learn more about you, verify your eligibility, and if eligible complete your application for TRIO. We will automatically schedule.
