TRIO SSS Interest Form Between January 16th and early March 2025, we’ve received an overwhelming response with about 250 interest forms. Currently, we have 17 spots remaining for year school year, and it may take us 1-2 months to carefully review all inquiries. We encourage you to submit your form if you're interested, and we appreciate your patience as we work through the process to give every inquiry the attention it deserves. Once we check to see if you might be eligible, the next step would be.to meet with a TRIO SSS advisor to confirm eligibility and have you fill out the full application to become one of the 160 students that we serve each year! If you are not eligible or we are full, we can refer you to other campus resources that are available. This is for Pierce Fort Steilacoom Students that are either income eligible or 1st generation with an accidemic need, that plan to transfer to a 4-year college or university. You are a "first generation" college student if you meet one of the following three criteria: A student neither of whose natural or adoptive parents received a baccalaureate (4-year) degree A student who, prior to the age of 18, regularly resided with and received support from only one parent and whose supporting parent did not receive a baccalaureate degree; or An individual who, prior to the age of 18, did not regularly reside with or receive support from a natural or adoptive parent.

Over the next two weeks, when is the best day & time Mon-Thur 8:30am-3:00pm or Friday 8:30-1pm to schedule a Zoom meeting (60 min) with a Retention Manager or Faculty Counselor Advisor? This appointment will be to learn more about you and complete an application for our programs. We will automatically set you up for an appointment based on your response to this question.
